Restart your Project Zomboid server automatically

A nightly restart

1. Create an automation with a schedule, for example every day at 5:00.
2. Add a server message, such as "Restart in 5 minutes".
3. Add a short wait, then a restart.

After a crash

A crash recovery automation runs when the server exits unexpectedly. Let it start the server again, post to Discord or make a backup.

History

Every run is listed step by step, so you can see when the server restarted and whether each step worked. More on the Automation page.
