Project Zomboid server guide

Ban, unban and kick players on a Project Zomboid server

Open the server's Players page in HaruHost and press Kick or Ban next to the player. Unban them from the same list. The Discord bot does the same, so admins can moderate from their phone.

From HaruHost

  • Every player who has joined is listed by account name, with playtime and skills.
  • Kick, ban and unban from the list.
  • The same from the Discord bot.

From the console

The console has ready-made kickuser and banuser commands with a reason.

Keeping people out

For a closed server, use a whitelist instead of banning one by one.

Questions

Can a banned player make a new account?

On an open server they could pick a new username. A whitelist, or Max Accounts Per User, stops that.
