Supply crate loot on ARK: Survival Evolved

The Supply Crates card is an editor for ARK's supply crate overrides: add a crate, give it item sets, and give each set entries with the items, their weights, quantities and blueprint chance. HaruHost writes the ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems lines into Game.ini for you.

Build a crate

  1. Open the Supply Crates card and choose Add Crate.
  2. Enter the crate's SupplyCrateClassString, the class name of the drop or crate you want to change, and its MinItemSets and MaxItemSets.
  3. Choose Add Set, name it, and set MinNumItems and MaxNumItems.
  4. Choose Add Entry and list the items in ItemClassStrings, with ItemsWeights, EntryWeight, MinQuantity, MaxQuantity and whether it gives a blueprint.
  5. Save and restart the server.

Tips

  • Higher weights make an entry or item more likely than the others in its set.
  • Each crate you add replaces that crate's loot; crates you don't add keep the game's own loot.

Questions

Do I have to write ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems by hand?

No. The editor builds the lines from the crates, sets and entries you add.

Where do I find a crate's class name?

On the ARK wiki's page for supply crates of your map; each beacon has its own class name.
