- Open the Player Role Settings card.
- Under Administrators, choose Add to pick a player who has played on the server, or Add by ID to enter their Steam ID.
- Restart the server.
The Steam ID is the long number ARK uses for players on PC. ListPlayers in the RCON console shows it for everyone online.
The admin password
Set the Admin Password on the Passwords card. In game, open the console and type enablecheats followed by the password.
One admin list for every map
Add your other servers on the Player Role Settings card's Sharing tab, and every map uses one Administrators list.

Run admin commands from the RCON console in the app or browser, without joining.

Can I make a friend admin without giving them the admin password?
Yes. Add them under Administrators on the Player Role Settings card.
Where is the admin password of my ARK server?
On the Passwords card on the server's Auto Config page.
