ARK: Survival Ascended server guide

Move an existing ARK: Survival Ascended server

Choose Import Existing Server when you add an ARK: Survival Ascended server and point HaruHost at the server you already run. It copies the saves, reads the GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini and shows those settings as cards for you to check before the server is created.

Step by step

  1. Stop the server you are moving.
  2. In HaruHost, choose Add → New game server, pick the PC, then ARK: Survival Ascended.
  3. Choose Import Existing Server and pick the server's folder.
  4. Choose what to bring, such as the whole Saved folder or one map's save.
  5. Review the settings HaruHost read from the server's files, change any you want, and create the server.

What comes along

  • The world, the tribes, the players and their tames.
  • The settings in GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini, shown on the Server Config cards.
  • Not the old start file. HaruHost builds the start line from the cards, so check the map and the mods on the Base Config and Mods cards.

From another computer or a host

Copy the server's Saved folder to the PC first, then import it from there. To move single players instead of a whole world, export and import their player profiles.

Questions

Does importing change my original server?

No. HaruHost copies what it needs into the new server and leaves the original folder as it was.

Are my settings kept when I import?

Yes. HaruHost reads them from the server's GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini and shows them on the cards before you create the server.
