Custom player and tame levels on ARK: Survival Ascended

The Custom Levels card builds ARK's level ramp for you. Turn on Player Levels, enter how many levels you want and the experience for the first and last level, press Generate, and adjust any level in the list. Tame levels work the same way.

Player levels

  1. Open the Custom Levels card and turn on the switch next to Player Levels.
  2. Set Total Playable Levels, up to 899, with XP at Level 1 and XP at Last Playable.
  3. Press Generate. The Players Levels list opens below the settings with the experience for every level; its button shows or hides the list.
  4. Change single levels in the list if you want a different curve, then press Save and restart the server.

ARK keeps 100 more levels on top for ascension; the card adds them for you.

Tame levels

Turn on Tame Levels, which needs Player Levels on, set Total Tame Levels up to 999 with XP at Level 1 and XP at Last Level, and press Generate. The Tames Levels list opens below in the same way. Press Save.

Engram points per level

In Server Config, the Items & Crafting card has Engram Points per Level, one row per level. See engrams.

Faster levels without a new cap

To level faster with the official cap, raise the XP rates instead.

Questions

How do I raise the level cap on an ARK: Survival Ascended server?

Set a higher Total Playable Levels on the Custom Levels card and generate the list. Players reach the new levels with the experience you set.

Do I have to write LevelExperienceRampOverrides lines?

No. The card writes them from the list it generates.
