Mod Manager
Use the Mod Manager in your Palworld server’s configuration pages to choose a mod setup, browse supported Workshop content and manage installed components.
Choose your setup
Section titled “Choose your setup”HaruHost supports two modes:
- GitHub UE4SS: set up UE4SS and HaruHost Core without a Steam account, then install compatible manual mods following their authors’ instructions.
- Steam Workshop: install supported Workshop mods using a Steam account that owns Palworld. Browse the catalogue and manage the selected mod list through SteamCMD.
Mod Manager requires an active HaruHost subscription. See plans. The modes are alternatives: configured Workshop mods do not load while GitHub UE4SS is selected. GitHub mode sets up the loader; it is not a browser or automatic installer for arbitrary GitHub repositories.
The in-app setup explains the requirements for your selected mode. Follow its server-state checks when switching modes or changing core components.
Using the same Steam account to play Palworld and download mods through SteamCMD may disconnect your active game session. A separate account that also owns Palworld avoids using your playing account for those downloads.
Add and manage Workshop mods
Section titled “Add and manage Workshop mods”- Open your Palworld server, then Mod Manager.
- Select Steam Workshop mode and complete its SteamCMD account setup.
- Open Add Mods. Search the catalog or add a Workshop ID.
- Review the selected mod’s server support and installation status.
- Use the available install, reinstall or delete actions to manage its files.
The manager also offers batch actions for supported Workshop items. A Workshop listing is not a guarantee that a mod supports dedicated servers; check the mod author’s requirements, including whether players need a client-side installation.
Core components
Section titled “Core components”UE4SS, PalSchema and HaruHost Core are managed separately from ordinary Workshop mods. Reinstalling the core setup is not the same as reinstalling every Workshop mod. HaruHost Core supplies additional information used by the Interactive Map.
Installation status confirms the files managed by HaruHost. After changes, check the game server’s logs and the mod’s behavior before inviting players back.
