Death penalty and respawn on a Palworld server

Death Penalty decides what players drop when they die: nothing, items, items and equipment, or everything including the Pals on their team. Set it in the server's settings in HaruHost; Base Respawn Time and the hardcore options sit next to it.

Death Penalty options

  • None: players keep everything.
  • Item: drop items except equipment. Palworld's default.
  • ItemAndEquipment: drop all items.
  • All: drop all items and the Pals on the team.

Respawn

  • Base Respawn Time: seconds before a player can respawn.
  • Respawn Penalty Scale and Respawn Penalty Reset Threshold: a longer wait for players who die again soon.

Hardcore

  • Hardcore Mode: players can't respawn after death.
  • Permanent Pal Loss: Pals are lost for good when they die.
  • Character Recreate in Hardcore: lets players start a new character.

PvP drops

Pickup Other Guild Drops allows picking up what other guilds dropped. For PvP options, see PvP server.
