Palworld server guide

A Palworld server on Linux or a VPS

Install HaruHost on an Ubuntu server or VPS with one command, then create the Palworld server from the web panel. Settings, mods, the map, players, chat and backups all work on Linux.

Install

On a fresh Ubuntu machine, run this command:

curl -fsSL https://haruhost.com/install.sh | sudo bash

HaruHost installs as a service; sign in with the QR code in your SSH session. Then create a Palworld server from the web panel. HaruHost downloads the server and installs the mod tools before its first start.

Open the ports

Open your port range in the VPS provider's firewall. Every server gets its game port from that range. See ports.

Size the machine

Pocketpair recommends 16 GB of memory and 4 CPU cores for a Palworld server. More players and bases need more. See lag and memory.
