HaruHost

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server guide

Set up a Minecraft Bedrock server on Linux

Run one command on your Ubuntu server or VPS, sign in with the QR code, then create the Bedrock server from the web panel. HaruHost sets up Docker, downloads Mojang's server for the version you pick and runs it as a service that starts with the machine.

Install HaruHost

On Ubuntu (x86-64), run:

curl -fsSL https://haruhost.com/install.sh | sudo bash

HaruHost installs as a service. Sign in with the QR code it shows in your SSH session, then open the web panel from any browser.

What HaruHost does for you

  • Docker: on Ubuntu, HaruHost installs and sets up Docker with one click when you create your first server.
  • systemd and screen: not needed. HaruHost runs as a service and keeps the server running without an open SSH session.
  • Settings: the start script opens on Manual Config, and server.properties is on the Files page.
  • Version: the server stays on the version you picked.

Step by step

  1. Run the install command and sign in.
  2. In the web panel, choose Add → New game server, pick your Linux server, then Minecraft Bedrock, and pick the version.
  3. Create the server. If Docker isn't installed yet, HaruHost asks first; press Install, then Create Server.
  4. Open your port range for UDP in your VPS provider's firewall; HaruHost shows it under Devices → Manage device → Network Settings.
  5. Start the server and send friends the Server Address from the Details tab.

Questions

Can I run several Bedrock servers on one VPS?

Yes. Each server gets its own ports from your port range, so they run side by side.
