HaruHost

Hytale server guide

Sign in a Hytale dedicated server

Hytale asks you to confirm your account twice, once for the downloader and once for the server after it starts. HaruHost shows each link and code in the manager, keeps it on the server until you confirm, tells you when sign-in is needed and can store the server's sign-in so a restart doesn't ask again.

When you install or update

  1. Hytale authentication required opens with an authorization code and a verify link.
  2. Press Authenticate, or copy the link and code, and confirm your account on the Hytale website.
  3. The download starts by itself once you confirm.

When the server starts

  1. The server shows Sign-in needed in the server list and doesn't show as Online until you sign in.
  2. In Hytale server authentication required, press Generate login link. If you closed it, Show sign-in opens it again.
  3. Keep Persist encrypted auth on, so the server stays signed in after restarts.
  4. Confirm the code in the browser before the countdown ends. If it runs out, press Get a new link.

You don't miss it

  • Closing the popup doesn't lose the link; it stays on the server page and in the server list until you confirm.
  • You get a notification when a server needs you to sign in.
  • Starting, restarting or updating from Discord Remote replies with the code and a Sign in to Hytale button.
  • Admins you share the server with see that you need to sign in; the link itself stays with you.

Questions

Why does my Hytale server say no server tokens configured?

The server hasn't been signed in to a Hytale account yet, or its stored sign-in stopped working. Press Generate login link in HaruHost and confirm in the browser.

Does HaruHost make new links by itself?

No. A new link is made only when you press the button, so your Hytale account isn't asked again and again.
