By address
- Copy the Server Address and the password from the server's Details tab in HaruHost.
- Launch Soulmask and select Online Game. Press OK on the online mode warning.
- In Server Selection, switch to Private Servers if needed, then choose Connect to the server directly.
- Enter the address and port from the Server Address, and the password if the server has one.
- Create or choose your character and join the world.
This is the join on Windows, with the Tunnel or with Ports, and for a server on Ports on a VPS.
From the server list on Linux
When HaruHost runs as a service on Linux, as the one-command install sets it up, a tunneled server shows in Soulmask's server list at the Tunnel's public address. Friends search the Server Title from the Details tab and join it there, with no router setup on your side.
Without port forwarding
Choose Tunnel on the Connection step when you create the server, or turn it on from an existing server's Details tab. The server gets a public address with no router setup, even behind CGNAT, Starlink or mobile internet. On Linux the Tunnel needs HaruHost running as a service. Regions are on the Tunnel page.
Not in the list?
- Search the exact Server Title, not the Server Name, which is only HaruHost's label for the server. New servers are named HaruHost Soulmask and a number until you change it.
- Soulmask's word filter replaces letters it flags in a server name with hearts, so a renamed server may show differently. Search part of the name, or choose a plain one.
- Check that the server shows as online in HaruHost.
- With Ports, the server's ports must be reachable from the internet, or turn on the Tunnel.
Questions
Where do I find the Server Title?
On the server's Details tab in HaruHost, above the Server Address. It is the name players see and search in Soulmask's server list.
How do I see who joined?
The Players page lists everyone who joined, with playtime, sessions and last seen. Kick and ban players there, or send admin commands from the Telnet console in the app or a browser.
