From the server list
- Copy the Server Title from the server's Details tab in HaruHost. New servers are named HaruHost Rust and a number until you change it.
- In Rust, open the server list and search that name.
- Join the server.
Through the Tunnel on Linux
When HaruHost runs as a service on Linux, as the one-command install sets it up, a tunneled server shows in Rust's server list at the Tunnel's public address. Friends join it there with no router setup on your side, even behind CGNAT. See hosting without port forwarding.
By address
For a server on Ports, on Windows or a VPS, friends can also press F1 for the console and type client.connect followed by the Server Address from the Details tab.
Not in the list?
- Wait until HaruHost shows the server as online. The first start generates the map, which can take several minutes; later starts are quicker.
- Search the exact Server Title, not the Server Name, which is only HaruHost's label for the server.
- With Ports, the server's ports must be reachable from the internet: on Windows, turn on Auto-manage UPnP and Auto-manage Firewall and HaruHost opens them when the server starts; on a VPS, open your port range in the provider's firewall. Or use the Tunnel on Linux.
Questions
Why isn't my new Rust server in the list yet?

Where do I find the Server Title?
On the server's Details tab in HaruHost. It is the name players see and search in Rust's server list.
