Palworld server guide

How to join a Palworld dedicated server

In Palworld, choose Join Multiplayer Game, type the server's address and port in the box below the server list and connect, or find the server under Community Servers. HaruHost shows the address and password to send your friends on the server's Details tab.

Join by address

  1. Open the server in HaruHost and go to its Details tab.
  2. Copy the Server Address (address and port) and the Server Password, and send them to your friends.
  3. In Palworld, your friends choose Join Multiplayer Game, paste the address into the box below the server list and press Connect.
  4. If the server has a password, Palworld asks for it.

Join from Community Servers

HaruHost lists your server in Palworld's Community Servers for you. Friends open Community Servers, search for your server's name and join. Xbox and PlayStation players join this way, because they can't type an address.

The list can take a while to show a new server. Joining by address works straight away.

Joining from the same house

Many home routers can't reach their own public address, so the PC next to the server can't join with the address you send friends. The Details tab shows a separate Local Address under Advanced, for players on the same network. Use that one at home.

Friends behind a firewall or without port forwarding

With the Tunnel on, the Server Address is a public address through HaruHost's relay, so friends join without any router setup, even if your internet uses CGNAT, Starlink or mobile data. See hosting without port forwarding.

Questions

Where do I find my Palworld server's address?

On the server's Details tab in HaruHost, in the app or the web panel. It shows the Server Address and the Server Password, and under Advanced the Local Address for players on your own network.

Can friends join if my server has a password?

Yes. Palworld asks for the password when they join. Send it with the address; HaruHost shows both on the Details tab.
