From the server list
- Copy the Server Title from the server's Details tab in HaruHost. New servers are named HaruHost ICARUS and a number until you change it.
- In ICARUS, open the game's dedicated server list and search that name.
- Join, and enter the server's password if it has one.
Through the Tunnel on Linux
When HaruHost runs as a service on Linux, as the one-command install sets it up, choose Tunnel on the Connection step when you create the server, or turn it on from an existing server's Details tab. The server shows in the list at the Tunnel's public address, and friends join it there with no router setup, even behind CGNAT, Starlink or mobile internet. See ICARUS on Linux.
Hosting on your own address
On Windows or a VPS with Ports, the list needs the server's ports to be reachable from the internet. On Windows, turn on Auto-manage UPnP and Auto-manage Firewall and HaruHost opens them on your router and in Windows Firewall when the server starts. On a VPS, open your port range for UDP in the provider's firewall.
Not in the list?
- Search the exact Server Title, not the Server Name, which is only HaruHost's label for the server.
- Check that the server shows as online in HaruHost.
- With Ports, check that the ports are open, or use the Tunnel on Linux.
Questions
Where do I find the Server Title?
On the server's Details tab in HaruHost. It is the name players see and search in the dedicated server list.
Can I host ICARUS behind CGNAT?
Yes, with the Tunnel when HaruHost runs as a service on Linux. Players connect to the relay's address, so CGNAT and your router don't matter.
