Restart Server

Restarting keeps Project Zomboid configuration and mod updates consistent after changes.

Location

Section titled “Location”
  • Game Servers → Your Game Server Name → Details
  • Game Servers → Your Game Server Name → Console

Restart procedure

Section titled “Restart procedure”
  1. Save pending config or mod changes.
  2. Trigger restart from server controls.
  3. Wait until status returns to Online.

Verify health

Section titled “Verify health”
  1. Open Console and confirm startup output is healthy.
  2. Run a join test.
  3. Confirm key gameplay features and mods are loaded.
