Minecraft: Bedrock Edition server guide

Minecraft Bedrock server settings

The server's Auto Config page in HaruHost holds server.properties as simple options, on Windows and on Linux. Set game mode, difficulty, cheats, the allow list, player permissions, view distance and the world seed, and they apply at the next start.

Game

  • Game Mode (Survival, Creative, Adventure), Difficulty (Peaceful to Hard) and Allow Cheats.
  • Default Player Permission Level: Visitor, Member or Operator for new players.

World

  • Level Name and Level Seed. A new name creates a new world.
  • View Distance, 32 chunks by default, and Tick Distance, 4. Lower them if the server lags.

Players

  • Server Name and Max Players, 10 by default.
  • Allow List and Online Mode: with the allow list on, add players with allowlist add <name> in HaruHost's console.
  • Player Idle Timeout: minutes before an idle player is kicked, 30 by default.
