Hytale server questions
Can HaruHost host Hytale servers?
Yes. HaruHost runs Hytale dedicated servers on Windows and Linux: friends can join through the Tunnel without port forwarding (paid plans), on Windows you see who is playing and for how long and mods install from CurseForge on Windows.
Can I host Hytale servers on Linux?
Yes. Hytale servers run on Windows and Linux, and you manage them from the desktop app or the web panel. The player list, playtime and mods work on Windows only.
Do my friends need port forwarding to join?
No. On a VPS, friends join at its public address. At home, the Tunnel (paid plans) lets them join through one of 14 regions without router changes. The server's Details tab shows what they need to join.
Can I see who is playing?
Yes. The Players page lists everyone who has joined, with playtime, sessions and last seen on Windows. Kick and ban players from the list. On Linux, bans apply while the server is stopped and kicking is not available. Paid plans show every player; the free plan shows one.
Does HaruHost support Hytale mods?
Yes. Mods install from CurseForge, and can be added from Discord.
