Custom Levels

Define custom XP curves for players and tames without editing INI files. HaruHost fills the XP arrays for you, properly handling reserved levels automatically. Ark requires custom player levels to be enabled before custom tame levels can run—there is no dino-only configuration.

  • Game Servers → Your Game Server Name → Auto Config → Custom Levels
  1. Enable Player Levels.
  2. Set Total Playable Levels (1–899) with the slider. Slider changes auto-save when released.
  3. Enter XP at Level 1 and XP at Last Playable.
  4. Click Generate to build the XP curve. The Players Levels array populates automatically with HaruHost’s calculated values, including reserved slots.
  5. Click the Save (disk) icon to persist the generated values.

Custom Levels player configuration with slider and Generate button

  1. Enable Tame Levels (Player Levels must be enabled first).
  2. Set Total Tame Levels (1–999) with the slider.
  3. Enter XP at Level 1 and XP at Last Level.
  4. Click Generate to fill the Tames Levels array with matching pacing.
  5. Click Save.
  • Higher XP at Last Level spreads progression across more levels—tune to fit your server’s pacing.
  • You can manually edit the generated arrays before saving to fine-tune specific levels.
  • Custom dino levels only work when custom player levels are active; keep Player Levels enabled even if you only tweak tames.
  • Restart the server after saving to apply the new XP curves.
